Mariah Carey is so
impressed with the California wine that bears her name, she has invested
in the vineyard that produces the tipple.
The pop superstar decided to try the Mendocino County winery's Mariah
Zinfandel after learning about its existence - and now it's her
favourite drink.
Her rep tells American magazine In Touch: "Mariah enjoys this wine very
much. She serves it often."
In fact she endorses the wine whenever she can - on a recent edition of
MTV Cribs, Carey cooed about the quality of the drink while relaxing at
Richard Branson's paradise island Necker.
